Esse mural foi um verdadeiro sonho realizado, fazia tempo que eu queria pintar grandes murais. E esse ano eu consegui!
Tive vários desafios nele, tive de perder o medo de altura, foi a primeira vez que precisei subir em andaime para pintar, foi a primeira vez que tive de trabalhar com dimensões tão grandes.
O tema sugerido no edital era trabalhar com alguma área de atividade do SESC. Eu escolhi a parte cultural, pois isso já se relacionava com algo que eu queria trabalhar que seria os festejos locais aqui no estado. Para essa arte eu misturei "Boi de Reis", São João, forró e até um pouco de carnaval.

This mural was a true dream come true. I'd wanted to paint large murals for a long time. And this year, I did it!I faced several challenges: I had to overcome my fear of heights, it was the first time I had to climb scaffolding to paint, and it was the first time I had to work with such large dimensions.
The suggested theme in the call for applications was to work with some area of SESC's activity. I chose the cultural aspect because it already related to something I wanted to work on: local festivities here in the state. For this artwork, I mixed "Boi de Reis," São João, forró, and even a bit of Carnival.
Quando me inscrevi no edital, a parede ainda não tinha sido definida. Então não deixava claro o tamanho. A arte acima e a esquerda, foi o desenho original que imaginei para a pintura. Mas quando recebi as informações da parede, precisei readequar o desenho, expandindo mais horizontalmente.

When I applied for the call, the wall hadn't been defined yet, so the size wasn't clear. The art above, on the left, was the original design I envisioned for the painting. But when I received the information about the wall, I needed to readjust the design, expanding it more horizontally.
